Building Inner Strength & Courage!

The process that the 52-week challenge will take you through can be difficult. Be proud of all of the hard work that you are putting into yourself. You have more strength inside of you then you realize.

What is inner strength? According to the dictionary, inner strength is Integrity of character. Inner strength is an unwavering will; mental resistance to doubt or discouragement.

How do we build inner strength? First you need to know what you want. Do not compare yourself to others. Know what your strengths are and do not be hesitant to ask for help with your weaknesses. Let go of the idea that everything has to be perfect and be positive. Speak in positives only. I can, I will, and I have are all great examples of positive speaking. Believe that you can do anything. Were there is a will, there is a way!

How about courage? What is courage? Courage is the ability to do something that frightens one or strength in the face of pain or grief. How do we build courage to move forward and overcome our trials? Ask yourself what are you afraid of? Are you afraid of rejection or failure? Try to remember that we all fail at times. No one is perfect. We are all human and we learn from our mistakes and shortcomings. Some of the most successful people have failed multiple times before they finally achieved success. If someone rejects you, that is OK. You will survive. Keep moving forward. Do not let the opinions of others discourage you. You are courageous for trying. Even if your courage is hidden, it is there. Remember that even the most courageous people still feel fear at times. Be proud of yourself for trying, and do not give up. Try and try again.

Oprah Winfrey

Before she became the star of daytime TV, was fired from her job as an evening news reporter because she was "unfit for television news"

Harrison Ford

When he first started acting, film executives told Harrison Ford he didn't have what it took to be a star, but he proved them wrong

Albert Einstein

When you hear "Einstein" we think genius, but did you know that Albert Einstein didn't speak fluently until he was nine. Einstein's teachers thought he was slow. He was expelled from school for being rebellious. He was rejected by Zurich Polytechnic School. While Einstein was outstanding in physics and mathematics he failed all of his non-science classes. He was also especially bad in French.

We all have strengths, just as we have weakness. Be confident in your strengths and wise enough to seek assistance where you lack in them. Stay positive and continue to push forward. If you fail, learn from your mistake, brush yourself off and try again. Remember that our only true failure is when we never try at all. God bless and have a fantastic day today !
