I asked my self several times, what is a life coach. I spent hours researching this subject. Through books, posts and conversations. I spoke to family and friends. I even attended life coaching myself. After years of trying to figure out what I wanted to do with myself ; I took classes and achieved a certification in Life coaching.
I discovered that a life coach is someone who helps others to discover what they really want to achieve or overcome. A life coach can help someone to overcome bad habits, create a healthy lifestyle, or create a plan to achieve a life goal. Goals can be anything from starting a new career, continuing education, better understanding of family or even learning to live a healthy life.
A life coach doesn't tell you what to do, they simply help you to discover that you already have the ability to achieve these goals. A life coach helps you to set up goals and guides you towards results. They hold you accountable for your actions and help to keep you on track. A life coach will help you to identify your strengths and your weaknesses. Through conversation and various exercises you will learn, grow, and achieve desired results. Your life coach will help you to track your progress and continually reevaluate your desired outcome.
